One good thing about the amount of down time I had over the last week, was I was able to go thru and finish editing and finally posting the pictures from Sam’s Wedding. It was such a great experience and it definitely convinced me that events and weddings are something I want to get into doing more of.
The wedding was just great, even though the day was almost destroyed by the fact that it rained. I learned more in that one day trying to get shots and figuring out how to frame things, than what multiple weekend trips over the last few months have shown me. I want to finish putting together a list of insights and thoughts from both shooting the day and editing the pictures afterward, and I will post it up on this site as well for prosperity.
I am going to host all the pictures on Sam’s website to allow his family and friends to access them (and help to promote his site as well, the pictures he took from his honeymoon in Croatia are incredible). Here are some of my favorites, as well as a link to the Thumbnails and a Slide Show of all the images from the day.
