This weekend in Baltimore was a great time. Went to the Maryland Brewer’s Festival Oktober fest at Timonium Fair Grounds with my brother, cousin, and Jason and then spent a night out in Federal Hill. All this drinking, though, led to a rough morning/day trying to shoot pictures in Baltimore.Fortunately my cousin’s place is close to some great locations so I didn’t have to go far to see things.
One of the places I stopped in at was the American Visionary Art Museum. I was uncertain what the art would be (I am usually not a big fan of modern art), but I am in love with graphic art like the stuff that was on display in the building. After walking thru the museum and checking out the “What makes us laugh” exhibit, I ended up picking up a book on street art called Untitled. Street Art in the Counter Culture. The pictures in that book and the detail on one of the outside works (unfortunately no photography is allowed inside), reminded me of some of the trademark works of the street Artist Banksy.
Lol, excellent !!
