Now that I finally moved back (but still in the process of unpacking), I decided to take a walk around downtown to check out what had changed. Surprisingly a few things had, so I was definitely happy to see the place getting a face lift.
The Capital Building had a major construction project over the last two years, which helped really improve the landscaping around the place. But the thing that I really love, is the Traffic Control box paintings (one favorite is included at the end of the post). They really remind me of Threadless shirts.
I want to end the post off topic with a link to an amazing photo project I found on Google Reader the other Day. A son decided to photography his father at the end of his last few years, and it is both touching and moving. Check out the series if you have time.
